One Pissed Off DUDE!!!

I recently had a phone call from a well known Canadian telephone company, they tried to trick my wife into saying that she was interested in having their local phone services, they went as far as to ask her if she had kid and the answer was of course yes. They then went back over their recording and put in yes to all of the no's. I was home on Monday and noticed that I had no DSL light on my modem. Decided that since I had a new ISP that it was probably them getting a few things set. I still had no internet on Tuesday morning so I called the ISP and they informed me that all was well on their end. My wife remembered upon getting home on Tuesday talking to Primus, they would not cancel the order, so I got involved. Told them that if it was not switched back I would be talking with the police! In which I did do and found out that they were doing that against the law. So I emailed them and told them what I thought of them and they responded saying that they had her recorded accepting the offer. I responded saying you do know that that can be and was manipulated? They said yes but it wasn't. I laughed and told them that it is now resolved and that Bell was contacting them to get their money for reconnecting me! They said it is not my problem but it would be forgotten, that is untill I emailed them back and said the only way it would be forgotten is if this person who was making the calls was brought to a court of law along with them for allowing him to manipulate the recordings. I have heard nothing back in almost 24 hours now, and am hoping that I never do except for them to say we were wrong, sorry.

Job Interview Rant

This is to express my disgust with the Canadian system. I recently went for a job interview, the problem is the way they conducted themselves during the said interview. First they get me to drive over 100 KM from home, hold me in the bulk interview room with a bunch of other people, then right as we were going for the first break they let a bunch of us go! Well they had asked no questions done nothing other than introductions. They have since received and very informative letter from me expressing my disgust with their operation! I got paid for my gas down there, but I feel they should have paid my way both ways as there was no interview. When will Canadian firms get away from this as it should be marked as ilegal and I do not wish it on my worst enemy.
